- 1 lb dried is about 2 cups
- 15oz can ~ 1.5 cups
1 lb dried beans
8 cups water
1 bay leaf - optional
1 onion, sliced - optional
2 tsp salt
0.5 tsp apple cider vinegar - optional
lay beans out on high contrast towel to easily pick out stones
place beans, water, salt, onion, bay leaf in pressure cooker
cook on high for:
black - 18
chickpeas - 29
kidney - 23
pinto - 14
navy - 14
butter - 29
great northern - 24
20 min natural release
stir in vinegar if using
