Buttery Potatoes with Parsley
2lb waxy yellow potatoes
2 bay leaves (optional for boiling water)
6-8 peppercorns (optional for boiling water)
2 cloves garlic (optional for boiling water)
3 tbsp butter
small bunch parsley
clean, peal potatoes
boil potatoes
strain, discard bay leaves, etc
chop up parsley
melt butter medium heat
cook parsley in butter for a couple minutes
add potatoes back, stir around
season
